Step 2

Step 3
Calculate your odds before buying into a break
The Simple Concept
Every numbered card has a limited print run. For example, a Gold /10 parallel means only 10 copies exist in the entire world.
When collectors pull these cards from packs and share them online, we track them. If 7 out of 10 have been seen, only 3 remain to be pulled.
This information helps you decide: Is it worth buying into a pack break hoping to pull that card? Or should you just buy one that's already been pulled?
Example: Gold /10 Parallel
3 copies could still be pulled from unopened packs!
How We Track Cards
1. Community Sightings
Collectors submit photos when they pull numbered cards. Each verified sighting is added to our database.
2. Verification
We verify serial numbers to prevent duplicates. Each unique serial (e.g., #3/10) is counted only once.
3. Calculate Remaining
Simple math: Print Run minus Documented equals Remaining. If /10 and 7 seen, then 3 remain.
How to Use This Information
Buying into Pack Breaks
Before paying to join a pack break hoping to pull a specific card:
- Check how many copies remain. More remaining = better odds.
- If most are already pulled, your chances are lower.
- Compare the break cost vs. buying an already-pulled copy.
Buying at Auctions
When bidding on a card at auction:
- Fewer remaining = more scarcity = potentially higher value.
- If 0 remaining, all copies are accounted for - true scarcity.
- Use this data to justify your bid or walk away.
Quick Reference Guide
| Status | What It Means | Action |
|---|---|---|
| 50%+ Remaining | Good availability. Many copies still in packs. | Pack breaks are viable. Auction prices may be lower. |
| 20-50% Remaining | Moderate scarcity. Getting harder to pull. | Consider buying now before supply runs out. |
| <20% Remaining | Limited availability. Very few left to pull. | Pack breaks are risky. Buy from market if you want it. |
| 0 Remaining | All copies documented. None left in packs. | Only option is to buy from current holders. |
